Righting

"A deviation of a hair's breadth at the center
Leads to an error of a hundred miles at the rim.
When the effort is so slight,
Why should you hesitate to set things right?"

The other day I taught my students the idiom, "Go with your gut." Since then I've reflected on how important it is to do that, and often, even when what one is doing looks all wrong to the world outside.
